The newest part of the Pokemon franchise is the Crown Tundra, the second part of the Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC.

Taking place in a snowy climate, you are asked to complete three different chapters involving certain Pokemon(Calyrex, the Galarian Birds, and the Regi’s) and as a side quest you can obtain the Swords of Justice, and the post-game grants you the Ultra Beasts and new Galarian Star Tournament. If you would like to check out the start of my Crown Tundra playthrough, watch the video below, or you can continue reading this article.

The King of Bountiful Harvests

In the first chapter, The Sacred Bond of Sovereign and Steed, you are ask to do a few favors for Calyrex, eventually reuniting him with his loyal steed(Spectrier or Glastrier). At the end of the chapter, Calyrex and the chosen steed will fuse, and then you will have to catch them.

The Return of the Regi's

The second chapter, Terrible Titans Lurking Locked Away, involves you capture the original Regi trio, like in the Hoenn games, as well as one of the new Regi’s, Regieleki or Regidrago. Regigigas can only be caught if you have all five Regi’s, so you need to trade with someone for the Regi you don’t have. You don’t need Regigigas to complete the chapter though.

Is it Just Me, or do These Birds Look Different?

The third chapter, A Legendary Tree of a Legendary Three, involves you going to the Crown Tundra, Isle of Armor, and the Wild Area to catch the legendary Galarian birds, by chasing after them, and might I add, is no easy feet.

Oh Come on, Not The Wormholes Again

The third chapter marks the end of the main Crown Tundra storyline, but the fourth chapter, They Came From the Ultra Beyond, involves battling in the Max Lair to defeat the Ultra Beasts.

Another Tournament?

You will also have access to the Galarian Star Tournament, which is basically a multi-battle style competition, which gives you good rewards, including 1,000,000 pokedollars of initial completion.

Those are the main plot points of the Crown Tundra! Now you know what to expect when playing through yourself.
